The LAM Circle of Friends is a group of very special people who contribute $500 or more each year to ensure the longevity of the Louisiana Association of Museums and its ability to fulfill its mission of helping our state’s museums better serve their communities. Their contribution to this unique statewide effort is greatly appreciated by everyone in the museum community—personnel, volunteers, patrons, and visitors.

Part of each donation made by the Circle of Friends is dedicated to scholarships for small museums’ personnel to attend LAM’s Annual Conference. The balance is dedicated to LAM’s general operating expenses — funding that is difficult to receive in the form of grants.

Members of LAM’s Patrons Circle are recognized each year at the Annual Conference and the Spring Summit.
