SEMC REGISTRATION BASICS
FEES
There are several categories of Annual Meeting Registration fees, with discounted rates if registrations
are received or postmarked on or before September 11, 2010.
Annual Meeting Registration fees include evening events and Resource Expo/Silent Auction receptions.
However, you must pre-register for evening events and space-limited activities in order to receive
admission tickets. Affinity functions and other events with fees indicated are not included in the
registration fee.
Annual Meeting Registration Categories
Full Registration ($250 Early/$300 Late)
Full Student Registration (requires current student ID) ($150 Early/$175 Late)
Single Day Registration ($150 Early/$175 Late)
As a special thank you to the Louisiana Association of Museums for its leadership role in the 2010 Annual
Meeting, current LAM members are eligible for a 10% discount on Annual Meeting Registration fees.
SEMC is also offering a discounted single-day registration for museum trustees, because we feel it is
important to have our trustees at the Annual Meeting. Trustee Single Day Registration ($75 Early/$100 Late)
SEMC 2010 PAYMENT
All registrations are reserved with payment. SEMC accepts personal and institutional checks, MasterCard,
Visa, and American Express. Make checks payable to SEMC.
You may register online via a secure PayPay connection beginning July 26, or download a form and fax
(404-814-2031), email (memberservices@semcdirect.net) or mail it to SEMC, PO Box 9003, Atlanta GA
31106. To ensure the low “early bird” rates, the form must be postmarked, faxed or emailed on or before
September 11, 2010.
For registrations submitted after Friday, October 1 and paid by check, fax or email the registration form
to SEMC (fax: 404-814-2031, email: memberservices@semcdirect.net) and bring the check with you to
Baton Rouge. Be certain to reserve food functions you will attend on the registration form. Tickets to
affinity breakfasts and lunches will not be available for purchase in Baton Rouge. If you send in your
registration form after Friday, October 1, please call the SEMC central office at 404 814-2048 to confirm
that it was received.
SEMC 2010 CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY
Annual Meeting refunds will be issued only when a written cancellation by fax (404 814-2031) or email
(memberservices@semcdirect.net) is received in the SEMC Central Office by Friday, September 24. A
25% cancellation fee will be deducted. All refunds will be issued only by checks regardless of payment
method. Checks will be sent at least 30 days after the annual meeting. After Friday, September 24, no
refunds will be given. SEMC is not responsible for cancellations that were not received.
