About LAM

  The Louisiana Association of Museums is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1979 to help our state’s museums better serve their communities. An active and energetic organization, LAM offers amazing benefits!

• LAM designs and distributes Louisiana Museums: A Guide to Louisiana's Historic and Cultural Treasures, listing all of its institutional members. LAM also maintains a website with an on-line Job Bank, produces a quarterly newsletter, and conducts surveys to gather information for advocacy use.
